Earlier, I wrote an entry about New Year’s Resolutions and estate planning. I would like to add to that post by expanding on digital protections in estate planning. Josh Robbins, an attorney at Carter Clunan & Robbins LLC, wrote a blog post last year titled, “Estate Planning: Protecting Your Digital Assets.” His four step approach suggests:
- Identify your digital assets,
- Figure out how the digital assets are stored and protected,
- Determine what should happen to your assets upon death, and
- Meet with an estate planning attorney.
