I took a quick break this evening to attend a delightful networking event hosted by the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA). I joined the group during my last year of law school. Membership is free if you are a law student. You can sign up by going to their website and registering online.
In addition to all their legal seminars and speaking engagements, MATA hosts about one social event a month. This month, they invited all their members to the 21st Amendment which is a bar located next to the State House. They rented out the backroom and had a whole host of delicious food for some of the top litigators.
There were no biscuits, but there were some brilliant trial attorneys in attendance, good food, and copious beverages.
